I always loved original Daikatana game, the only flaw for me was missing DM bot support. So my question is: do you plan including bots for deathmatch? Thanks for Your answer. P.S. great job so far ;)

Re: Who’s dat cat?

Daikatana was a failure.

Re: Who’s dat cat?

i bet that romero was wasting money for his luxury, he was always proud of himself.

Re: Getting The Witcher to work on Windows 7 (64bit).

the best game, if you are saying Witcher isn't a good game, you probably dont like this type (rpg) games.

Re: Making my way around the web…

why bother giving them any attention?

Re: Malice for Quake soundtrack

THANK YOU hogsy for this soundtrack!!!

Re: Cleared

http://wordpress.org/extend/pl...

Re: Not bothered.

Gah..Let them do their Mods..Different PEople have different oppinions :)

Re: Forum Coming Soon

Please do not spam the blog with pointless comments. What folders are you planning on making? Do you intend to fill any of them?

The mod source code is still inside source sdk content.gcf (if I recall).

Re: It’s all going… slow…

I said a mod, not a game.

Re: It’s all going… slow…

Ah cool. Now, you said "fill it with all the required folders." Are you going to place stuff like hl2.exe, engine.dll, etc for the user? If that's the case, one thing to consider will be how you will get those files (ie from a gcf).

Re: It’s all going… slow…

Oh! Well I'm planning on making it as simple as possible. You would choose different options like engine version, name etc and once you have chosen all the options it will create a folder in your sourcemods directory and fill it with all the required folders. The generation of the gameinfo.txt is the part which I'm still thinking about.

Re: It’s all going… slow…

Sorry, I should have phrased my inquiry differently. I meant that I'd be interested in seeing how you plan to have that feature exposed in your next release. Meaning, what steps would I need to take to create an HL2 mod with your SDK :)

Re: It’s all going… slow…

It's a future feature, you can't do it with the current release.

Re: It’s all going… slow…

I'm a bit confused on how I can setup HL2 mods with the xSDK.
